Umberto completed his studies at the University of Eastern Piedmont ‘Amedeo Avogadro’, where he graduated in Biotechnology in 2021 and then obtained his Master’s degree in Pharmaceutical Biotechnology in 2023, discussing a thesis entitled: ‘In vitro study of the ability of a Tn antigen mimetic to stimulate the maturation and activation of dendritic cells’.

In 2024, he moved to Humanitas Research Hospital as a research laboratory technician, where he joined the Precision Medicine Lab research group led by Prof. Salvatore Piscuoglio.
