Dr. Stefanos Bonovas graduated from the School of Medicine at the University of Athens, and completed his medical residency in General Practice at Athens General Hospital “G. Gennimatas”. He earned an M.Sc. in Biostatistics and a Ph.D. in Epidemiology from the University of Athens, Greece.

Currently, Dr. Stefanos Bonovas serves as an Associate Professor of Medical Statistics at the Department of Biomedical Sciences at Humanitas University, Milan. His work focuses on medical statistics, biometry, clinical epidemiology, the development of clinical practice guidelines, and evidence synthesis (by means of systematic reviews, umbrella reviews, classic and network meta-analyses) to inform healthcare decisions. He is a member of the Clinical Epidemiology and Research Center.
