Piera Molisso received her MSc in Biotechnologies of Human Reproduction from the University of Siena. She has recently become part of reality of Humanitas University as a PhD student in Molecular and Experimental Medicine. Her project is focused on the study of the possible effects of the inflammatory status and the immune system in the occurrence of adverse pregnancy outcomes, such as recurrent spontaneous abortion and preterm delivery, aimed at identifying potential biomarkers to be used in assessing risk factors related to the aforementioned conditions and develop a personalized medical approach.
