Paolo joined Humanitas Research Hospital in July 2017. He graduated from University of Naples Federico II with a Bachelor’s degree in Biomedical Engineering. He completed his Master’s degree in Clinical Engineering at the University of Patras and subsequently completed his second level Master’s degree in Health Economics at SDA Bocconi School of Management. Prior to joining Humanitas Research Hospital, Paolo worked for 3 years as Clinical Engineer and Operation Manager at Fatebenefratelli Hospital.
Since March 2024, Paolo has been actively involved with the 3D Innovation Lab at Humanitas Research Hospital, where he oversees the management and strategic direction of the lab. Under his leadership, the lab leverages the potential of additive manufacturing in personalized medicine, including the production of organ phantoms for teaching and the advancement of biofabrication through bioprinting techniques. Paolo’s role involves coordinating multidisciplinary teams, managing project timelines and budgets, and fostering collaborations with academic and industry partners to drive innovation and improve patient outcomes.
