She graduated in Veterinary Biotechnology at the University of Milan and obtained her PhD in Molecular Biotechnology at the Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore of Piacenza. Her research focused on microbiology and nutrigenomic projects to study the interactions between gut microflora, diet and host gene expression. During her Postdoctoral fellowship she studied the development of metastasis in tumors by generating transgenic mice.
From 2018 she is a Laboratory Technician in the group of Maria Rescigno, supporting all the activities in laboratory and in the animal house. She is also involved in several translational projects on the role of microbiota in different diseases.
