Micaela Piemontese is graduated in Molecular and Cellular Biology at the University of Bologna, and she carried her master’s degree internship at the Curie Institute in Paris.

In Humanitas, she is a fellow in the Laboratory of Cancer Pharmacology and her research is focused on the possibility to use the circulating-free DNA as a prognostic index in pleural mesothelioma patients.
