Matteo Bizzotto graduated in Biomedical Sciences at University of Insubria in 2019 and obtained his PhD in Molecular and Experimental Medicine in 2024 at Humanitas University under the supervision of Dr. Fabia Filipello and Professor Michela Matteoli.

Matteo joined the Matteoli’s group in 2019 and since then he is investigating the role of the microglial receptor TREM2 during inflammatory events and neurodevelopment.
