Ivano obtained his Bachelor’s degree in Biology at “Università degli studi della Tuscia” in 2019 and his Master’s degree in Medical Biotechnoloy at the University of Rome “La Sapienza” in 2022. In 2023 he has been honored as an “Outstanding Graduate” of the Faculty of Pharmacy and Medicine of University “La Sapienza” in Rome.

He is currently working as a post-graduate Research Fellow in the Translational Immunology Lab of Enrico Lugli. Ivano carries out research activity in the context of tumor immunology with a particular focus on regulatory T cells (Treg) as mediators of immunosuppression and drivers of disease progression in the tumor microenvironment of solid malignancies.
