Consonni graduated in Biology (Pathophysiologic career) at the Università degli Studi di Milano Bicocca in 2013 and then earned her PhD in Chemistry and Biology at the Department of Pharmaceutical Sciences of the University of Piemonte Orientale “A. Avogadro”, Novara in 2017.
She is currently performing three years Fellowship awarded by FIRC-AIRC at the Molecular Immunology laboratory of Prof. Antonio Sica at Humanitas Research Hospital, Rozzano, Italy, to carry out a research project mainly focused on the characterization of suppressor myeloid cells (tumor-associated macrophages/TAMs and myeloid-derived suppressor cells/MDSCs) and on the molecular mechanism underlying myeloid cell reprogramming in cancer bearers.
