Postdoc fellow

Federica Potere is a postdoctoral fellow at the 3D Innovation Lab in the Innovation Building at Humanitas University. She earned her PhD in Bioengineering from Politecnico di Milano, where she focused on the development and biofabrication of a self-supporting, multi-layered, 3D-bioprinted construct to regenerate biologically functional tissues.

Federica’s diverse experiences in various research laboratories in Italy and in USA (at Virginia Commonwealth University (VCU) and Northwestern University) have equipped her to excel in interdisciplinary environments. In addition to mastering a wide range of laboratory techniques and enabling multiple complex modeling and experiments, she has developed strong communication skills, allowing seamless exchange and collaboration with scientists and professionals of diverse backgrounds including medicine and biology, physics and mathematics.

Looking ahead, Federica aims to apply her passion for 3D Bioprinting, biomaterials, regenerative medicine, and biology to advance these fields and make significant contributions as a scientist.
