Chiara Arienti graduated in Exercise Science at the University “La Statale” of Milan and in Osteopathy at the University of Wales, UK. She got a PhD in Biomedical Research and Translational Medicine with specific attention to the challenges of real-world evidence to improve global health in the rehabilitation field. She worked as a research scientist in the rehabilitation field at IRCCS Fondazione Don Carlo Gnocchi for seven years.
She is the Cochrane Rehabilitation Coordinator, and her current research line is the improvement of methodology in rehabilitation research. She acquired great experience over time relating to systematic reviews of rehabilitation interventions, leading methodological work, and completing and supporting systematic reviews and guidelines development inside Cochrane Rehabilitation. She is also a GRADE Working Group Member, Associate Editor of the JBI Evidence Implementation Journal, Editorial Board Member of the International Journal of Osteopathic Medicine, and a Statistical Advisor of the European PRM Journal.
She moved to Humanitas University in April 2024, and she works as a research scientist at the Clinical Epidemiology Research Centre with a specific focus on leading research in public health related to the rehabilitation field.
