Sidorela Balla obtained her bachelor degree in Biology at “Università di Pisa” in 2020 and her master degree in Molecular Biology of the Cell at the University of Milan “La Statale” in 2022. During her thesis project she focused on the role of macrophages in the angiogenic process in development.

She was granted a one-year fellowship in the Laboratory of Translational Immunology at Humanitas University to investigate, in the context of tumor immunity, the effect of chemotherapy on CD8 T cells. She is currently enrolled in the PhD programme in Molecular and Experimental Medicine at Humanitas University.
