Anna Maria Naso is a PhD student in Maria Rescigno’s Laboratory of Mucosal Immunology and Microbiota in Humanitas (Milan). She completed her degree in Biotechnology and Medical Biology from Vita-Salute San Raffaele University of Milan in 2023.

She joined the lab of Professor Rescigno to study the interplay between the gut, the liver and the brain. As a PhD student, she aims to evaluate the impact of various compounds on intestinal permeability within a model of alcoholic liver disease.
