Amina Aleta graduated in Medical Biotechnology and Molecular Medicine from Università degli Studi of Milan in 2023. For her thesis, she worked in the Department of Clinical Pharmacology, evaluating potential novel treatment approaches for muscular dystrophies. She also holds a MSc. degree in Genetics and Bioengineering, which she obtained from the International Burch University in Sarajevo, Bosnia and Herzegovina.

In December 2023, she started her PhD at Humanitas University and she is working in the Carlo-Stella Group at Humanitas Research Hospital, focusing on lymphoma translational research, mainly on single-cell analysis to identify signatures of response to immunotherapy in Diffuse Large B-cell Lymphoma.
