Marika Francioso graduated in Biomedical Sciences at the University of Milan. During her MSc thesis, she identified and characterized immune cell subsets involved in the pathogenesis and protection of immune-mediated diseases, such as melanoma.

Since November 2023, she has been working as a Laboratory Technician in Maria Rescigno’s group, supporting lab members with in vivo and in vitro experiments. She is also involved in several translational projects investigating the role of the microbiota in different diseases.
