Giuseppe Martano is the co-head of the Metabolomics Core Facility of IRCCS Humanitas Research Hospital.

Martano graduated in Pharmaceutical Chemistry at the University of Modena e Reggio-Emilia and got his PhD in Chemistry at Paris Lodron University of Salzburg. He worked as postdoc on several metabolomics and lipidomics projects at ETH Zurich, University of Zurich, Consiglio Nazionale delle Ricerche, and in the FIRC Institute of Molecular Oncology. During this period, he developed novel mass spectrometry based analytical methods and software for metabolomics untargeted data analysis. He joined IRCCS Humanitas Research Hospital in 2021.
