Camilla Galli graduated in 2014 in Veterinary Biotechnologies at University of Milan. In 2019, she obtained her PhD degree in Molecular Oncology at SEMM (European School of Molecular Medicine), working in the Mechano-Oncology lab at IFOM, Milan, where she investigated cytoskeleton and plasma membrane role in cell sustainment upon mechanical stress, mainly through basic and advanced microscopy techniques. In early 2020, she started her post-doctoral training in the Transcriptional Mechanisms in Development and Cancer’s department at IFOM, specifically working on the key regulators of mesenchymal stromal cells differentiation.

In January 2021, Camilla joined Elisa Di Pasquale’s group at Humanitas Research Hospital in the Department of Cardiovascular Medicine, where she is currently applying iPSCs technology to study cardiac development and diseases, with a particular focus on novel organic semiconducting materials targeted to cardiac fate modulation and regeneration.
