Dr. Pasqualini has been collaborating since 1999 with Prof. Mantovani, first at the “Mario Negri” Institute of Pharmacological Research, with the task of producing polyclonal and monoclonal antibodies directed against the human and murine isoforms of pentraxin 3 and its quantification and characterization by ELISA and Western Blot – in various inflammatory and infectious diseases and in many biological fluids (plasma, serum, cell supernatant and ascites).

Since 2006 he has been part of the Histology Core at IRCCS Humanitas Research Hospital and deals with the study of human and murine tissues through histology, immunohistochemistry, immunofluorescence and RNA scope techniques, digitization and analysis of histological images, processing, inclusion and cutting of tissues from samples paraffined and frozen.
