Jessica Modica graduated in Biology from the University of Milano-Bicocca in 2016 and received her PhD in 2021 within the PhD Programme in Molecular and Experimental Medicine (MEM) at Humanitas University. Since then, she has worked as a postdoctoral researcher at the Institute of Genetic and Biomedical Research of the Italian National Research Council (IRGB-CNR) at Humanitas Research Hospital.
Her research activities are focused on implementing a drug delivery platform based on calcium phosphate nanoparticles with innovative aptameric-based systems in order to increase the efficiency and selectivity of targeting to the heart.
