Ines obtained her M.Sc. in Genetic Sciences and Technologies at the University of Sannio in 2012, through a joint program with the University of Naples Federico II, Sannio, Bari, and Foggia. She then completed her Ph.D. in Bioinformatics at the University of Sannio in 2016. During her doctoral studies, she worked on the molecular characterization of breast cancer.
Currently, Ines works as a Bioinformatician at the Computational Biology Lab of Humanitas Research Hospital in Rozzano (Italy), headed by Professor C. K. Y. Ng. Her current research activity aims to discover the molecular mechanisms involved in the development of visceral tumors by integrating systems biology and cancer genomics using computational-based approaches.
Prior to joining Humanitas, she worked as a researcher in prestigious national (Biogem Institute, Istituto Italiano di Tecnologia, University of Naples Federico II) and international (Qatar Computing Research Institute) research centers.
