Priscila Ribeiro

Priscila graduated in Biological Sciences at the Universidade Federal do Espirito Santo, Brazil. She later obtained her master’s and Ph.D. degrees in Oncology Research at the Brazilian National Cancer Institute (INCA, Rio de Janeiro, Brazil). Before completing her Ph.D., Priscila received a fellowship funded by CAPES, a Federal Brazilian Agency that supports research. This fellowship allowed her to spend the last 6 months of her Ph.D. in Italy at IFOM ETS – the AIRC Institute of Molecular Oncology. Afterwards, she earned a one-year AIRC fellowship for her first postdoctoral position.

In 2024, she joined the Molecular Immunology laboratory of Prof. Antonio Sica at the Humanitas Research Hospital. She is now part of the team responsible for carrying out a project involving the in vivo analysis of the benefits of a universal cancer vaccine, as well as the characterization of the immune system before and after vaccination, along with the investigation of potential adjuvant molecules.
