Graduated in Medical and Pharmaceutical Biotechnologies in 2015 at the University of Modena and Reggio Emilia, Luca De Feo completed her PhD in Neurology and Experimental Neuroscience at San Raffaele University in Milan, in 2021, with a project aimed to engineer Neural stem cells to promote neuroprotection and remyelination in a model of Multiple Sclerosis.
Luca De Feo did his first postdoc at Washington University in St. Louis (MO, USA) from 2021 to 2023, working on the role of the TREM-2 microglial receptor on oligodendrogenesis and oligodendrocyte biology. In 2023 he joined the laboratory of Massimo Locati at Humanitas Research Hospital where he is currently working on evaluating the role of Ms4a genes in Alzheimer and Parkinson Disease.
