Denise Ventura obtained her bachelor’s degree in Biological Sciences and her master’s degree in Neurobiology at University of Pavia. In 2023 she obtained a Second Level Master Degree in Reproductive Biology and Biotechnologies at University of Pavia after a period of traineeship at University of Leeds (UK).

She worked as research fellow at Istituto Neurologico Carlo Besta (Milan) in the Division of Medical Genetics and Neurogenetics on the project “An integrated omics approach for patients with rare neurological disorders: towards personalized clinical cure and trial readiness”. In November 2023, she joined the Genomics of Hematological Malignances Lab as a predoctoral fellow.
