Elena Riva obtained her bachelor’s degree in Biological Sciences at University of Milano-Bicocca (Milan, Italy) and her master’s degree in medical, molecular and cellular biotechnologies at Vita-Salute San Raffaele University (Milan, Italy). She is enrolled in the Molecular and Translational Medicine PhD course at University of Milano-Bicocca.
Her PhD project aims to study by high dimensional flow cytometry and single cell RNA-sequencing the immune environment in patients affected by Myelodysplastic Syndromes and Acute myeloid leukemia during disease evolution and upon treatments, to understand which are the immune evasion mechanisms that may contribute to disease progression and relapse.
